The Angel I Love

Writen by Matt Waterman

An Angel once fell from the sky,
As this mortal was walking by.
Then a voice rang from above,
Saying "Be kind to her for she cannot fly."

I picked you up and kept you safe,
And took you to a safer place.
I then dried you off and kept you warm
Looked after you and kept you from harm.

When I looked into your eyes,
And saw a beauty noone could disguise.
Then brushing the hair from your face,
I was quickly put in my place.

You beauty made my knees grow weak,
And now I kneel at you feet.
You rasied me up and told me not to fear,
Whispering "I will always be near."

Now I hold you close to me,
Filled with warmth and not wanting to flee.
You keep me safe and warm my heart
And hope that we will never part.
